Shared feature
PokeMMO Shiny Detection & Auto-Catch
Shiny handling is not a separate PokeBotLabs product. It is a shared feature inside supported farming workflows, designed to interrupt normal automation when an important Shiny encounter appears.
What Shiny Handling Means
When a supported automation mode detects a Shiny encounter, the normal farming objective should change. Instead of continuing the ordinary battle or route loop, PokeBotLabs can switch into Shiny handling so the encounter receives special attention.
- Shiny detection belongs to supported farming and leveling workflows.
- It is not marketed as a standalone Shiny-only bot product.
- The behavior depends on the game window, visual detection and current route or battle state.
- Capture behavior depends on the configured team and supported capture workflow.

Horde Context Where Supported
If a Shiny appears inside a Horde, supported automation can change its normal objective, preserve the Shiny and handle surrounding Pokemon where the configured setup supports it. Users should prepare a suitable non-catcher party Pokemon with a reliable single-target damaging move to clear surrounding Horde Pokemon while preserving the Shiny. This should not be read as a guaranteed capture claim.
Preparation Matters
Users should prepare the catcher setup and review the route before running long farming sessions. If your configured workflow expects a dedicated catcher Pokemon, keep it in party slot 6 before starting the bot.
Important Limitations
No automation feature should be described as risk-free, official or guaranteed. PokeBotLabs is independent software and users should understand the risks of third-party automation before running long sessions.
Learn where Shiny handling fits
Shiny handling works alongside supported products and route methods, not as a separate product line.
